Originally, the former Milano fair was here, but a new one more important and bigger, designed by Arch. Massimiliano Fuksas, has been located in 2005 at Rho Pero, just outside the city.
Today, the former Fair area presents one of the most innovative European architecture projects: FieraMilano City, signed by Arch. Zaha Hadid, Arata Isozaki and Daniel Libeskind, between the others.
Step by step, we are witnessing to the expanding of the district: it is already perceived as core of the town dynamism, inside the texture of a context relevant in itself for the urban planning.
2,5 km far, indeed, are located two historical places for the territorial topography, favorite destinations of sport lovers and of followers of great entertainment events: San Siro stadium, Italian football temple, and the Hippodrome, place that still retains its old-world charm.
